Its been a good few weeks for Mississippi State on the recruiting trail, as the Bulldogs have racked up five commitments in the past 10 days. State made it two this weekend, starting with Lafayette County DB Brendan Toles flipping his pledge to Mike Leach and staff from Louisiana Tech, then adding Jacobi Moore, a receiver from Harrison Central on Saturday.
Toles made his announcement Friday afternoon, picking Mississippi State over Louisiana Tech, Arkansas State, and Louisiana-Lafayette. A 6’1″ 175 pound athlete, the Oxford native racked up 52 tackles with nine PBUs and one interception as a junior.

Moore picked Mississippi State over a strong set of offers, including Ole Miss, Auburn, and Oregon. The 6’4″ 185 pounder has caught 69 passes for 1108 yards and 14 touchdowns in three years at Harrison Central. He is the fourth receiver to pledge to the Bulldogs, a position of dire need in the Air Raid offense.
