Another Mississippi State football player has been arrested this offseason.
Senior defensive back Raydarious Jones became the fourth Bulldog to be taken into custody by law enforcement since the conclusion of the 2023 campaign.
Jones, a Horn Lake native, was arrested Saturday night and charged with suspicion of driving under the influence as well as reckless driving. He is reported to have bonded out.
Freshman wide receivers JJ Harrell and Mario Craver were the first Mississippi State football players to encounter law enforcement for alleged crimes this year. The duo was charged with possession of marijuana in a vehicle and possession of alcohol by a minor back in late April.
Less than a week later, sophomore defensive lineman Trevion Williams was arrested by MSU police and charged with driving under the influence.
Bulldog head coach Jeff Lebby has acknowledged all of the arrests but has not commented on the nature of the incidents.
