Daniels picked MSU over offers from Auburn, Georgia, Tennessee, and Ole Miss, whom he had previously been committed to before opening his recruitment back up in June. Rated as the #6 player in the state by 247 Sports, Daniels becomes the third top 10 player in-state to commit to the Bulldogs. His addition to the 2021 class jumps the Bulldogs to #34 nationally with a total of 19 commitments.
