HATTIESBURG, MISS– Most seven-year-olds are not spending their summer swinging golf clubs, but this one kid is different. Henson Sharpe of Hattiesburg is ranked one of the top 20 junior golfers in the world by the U.S. Kids Golf Foundation, and he’s just seven years old.
Thursday, Sharpe is playing in California for a tournament, then he’s scheduled to compete in the World Championships in North Carolina in July. There, he will face off with 125 other junior golfers.
Here’s an example of Sharpe’s skills, as featured on PGA.com.
