WASHINGTON,D.C. – Mississippi Congressman Steven Palazzo says it’s time to put an end to what he calls Career Politicians.
He’s introduced a resolution to limit the number of years members of Congress can serve to 12. “If you know every vote you took, you’re gonna have to truly live by, you would have a totally different outlook. We would do a whole lot less damage to our country and our economy,” he said.
If Palazzo’s resolution were to be adopted, it would not need President Obama’s approval; and the years already served by current Congressional members would not be counted against them.
