Central Mississippi’s professional baseball club is seeking host families to house players ahead of the upcoming season.
Athletes from across the U.S. and other countries have found homes away from home while pursuing opportunities to play baseball professionally. To accommodate these players, the Mississippi Mud Monsters are offering incentives for families who agree to allow players to live in their homes ahead of the team’s debut campaign.
Host families receive two season tickets for each player they host. They will also be invited to many special events throughout the year. Players usually arrive the first week of May and depart during the first or second week of September, making the commitment a little over four months.
