The Magnolia State has jumped up 10 places in Chief Executive Magazine’s list of Best and Worst States for Business.

The 13th annual survey doesn’t focus on numbers, but gathers the perceptions of CEOs around the country.

Mississippi is now ranked 32nd on the list. The survey gives kudos to The Mississippi Development Authority for being so aggressive in the recruitment of Yokohama Tire and Continental Tire, both which serve global markets.

The 10 space jump was the greatest gain of any other state on the list.
