Mississippi Lottery Insiders now have the chance to win $1,000 cash while having their dog featured on a new scratch-off game.
Starting Tuesday, January 2, players will have two weeks to upload one picture of their canine for the competition using a special linked email. Only one dog may be in the submitted photo.
Once all submissions are reviewed by a Mississippi Lottery panel, the public will be able to vote for their favorite photos over social media from January 22 through January 28.
The top eight dogs with the most votes will then be featured on the “Lucky Dog” instant scratch-off ticket, which will be launched over the summer. Owners of the eight finalists are also set to receive $1,000 cash.
The winners of the contest will be notified via certified letter and announced to the public on February 2.
