JACKSON, MISS— The United States Supreme Court has denied a new trial for death-row inmate Caleb Corrothers.
Corrothers was given the death penalty in 2011 for the murders of Taylor and Frank Clark after an argument over drugs.
Corrothers tells the U.S. Supreme Court that an eyewitness mistakenly pointed him out after the Lafayette County murders. He tried the same story with the state Supreme Court last year; that appeal was denied as well.
Corrothers is now back on death row, no execution date set yet.
