CLINTON, Miss.- The White House Business Council has chosen its newest member and they hail from Clinton, Mississippi.
Marco Moran, the CEO of Dewmar International Brand Management Company Inc., was chosen to participate. He is also the chair of the Mississippi District Export Council (DEC).
The DEC is made up of a regional organization of leaders from the international business community that help and enhance opportunities to export goods and services in and out of Mississippi.
Moran’s company currently assists small to medium size businesses get their products placed with retailers.
He has already weighed in on the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement, last year, during a group discussion to improve international trade.
As a member he will offer feedback on job creation and other efforts to stimulate the economy through growing small business. He will also be able to invite other CEO’s and industry leaders to attend council meetings on hard hitting issues.
“Many times when I am invited to attend White House Business Forward sessions, I am asked to invite other business leaders from around the country; so far this year, I have invited business leaders representing companies in Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, and Colorado. My goal is helping small businesses in the United States increase both their gross sales revenue and corporate footprint across the globe,” said Moran.
