Ole Miss baseball fans in the Jackson metro will be in for a treat this week as the Mississippi Braves are set to host two members of the Rebels’ 2022 national championship team.
The AA Minor League club out of Pearl announced that “Ole Miss Night” will be held at Trustmark Park on Thursday as the Braves will face off against the Birmingham Barons — who feature former Rebels first baseman Tim Elko and shortstop Jacob Gonzalez on the team’s roster.
This week, they may be our opposition with the @BhamBarons, but welcome back to Trustmark Park a pair of former @OleMissBSB stars, @TimElko and @jakegonzalez717.
