Mississippi’s 200th birthday is a big event for the state, and it’s one that the state’s business leaders will use to make vital business contacts across the world.
“The Mississippi Development Authority is working closely with the bicentennial commission,” said MDA director Glenn McCollough. “And we’ll be inviting folks from North America, Asia, Europe, and around the world.. it’s going to be an exciting time for our state.”
One of the bicentennial concerts have been named. April 1, The Band Perry will headline the first of several events slated for around the state.
