Mississippi Anime Fest set to return to Jackson in March

Mississippi Anime Fest is set to return to the capital city’s fairgrounds in a little over a month for another weekend of celebrities, gaming, cosplay, and more.

The festival — which is scheduled to take place on March 9 and 10 — will include a star-studded lineup of guests, as well as feature numerous in-show events for anime fans to attend.

This year’s lineup includes:

  • Xander Mobus (Super Smash Bros.; Fortnite)
  • Brianna Knickerbocker (Demon SlayerGenshin Impact)
  • Cherami Leigh (Persona 5Cyberpunk 2077)
  • Jim Cummings (Winnie the PoohDarkwing Duck)
  • Adam McArthur (Star vs. the Forces of EvilTokyo Revengers)
  • Anne Yatco (Jujutsu KaisenGenshin Impact)
  • Kaiji Tang (Jujutsu Kaisen; the Yakuza series)
  • Creek Wilson (Red Dead Redemption IIWe Have a Ghost)
  • Erika Harlacher (Genshin ImpactViolet Evergarden)
  • Keith Silverstein (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure; Miraculous franchise)
  • Ian James Corlett (Johnny TestDragon Ball franchise)

Festivalgoers will be invited to attend Q&As with celebrities, panels presented by professional cosplayers and artists, costume contests, gaming, and photo opportunities. Vendors and artists from across the country are also expected to be present, as well as exhibit setups and performances from local fan groups.

Advance tickets are available for $25 per day or $40 for the entire weekend, with discounts available for members of the military. Kids aged 10 years or younger will also have free admission with the purchase of an adult ticket.
