GREG DAVIS TRIAL
It’s the double dippingv trial of former Southaven Mayor Greg Davis and the moment of truth could be coming soon for Davis, who prosecutors say did corrupt things like use the city gas card for his personal car. The defense tried for a mistrial Tuesday because of a disputed document, but the judge said no dice and today the ex-mayor’s lawyers expected to keep arguing that Davis was in the right, even though he was forced to pay back money by the state auditor.
SHOT IN ST. MARTIN
Shot in St. Martin, a man and a woman, both found on the floor of a home and both critical. Police thinking it could be domestic. They found one gun.
TOP COP IN COLUMBUS
New top cop in Columbus. Tony Carleton is a name you might’ve heard before. He used to be chief in Tupelo. And just how much a job like police chief pays, $73,500 in Columbus.
FOUR ARRESTED FOR ROBBERY
You heard Monday about the woman who ended up shot in the leg after she and her friends were followed home from Rhythm and Brews in Meridian. Now cops there say they arrested four people Tuesday.

Airplanes to fly you in and out of Mississippi. Tupelo’s airport losing Silver Airways and now they’ve got four bids for a new service. Three of those have planes that carry nine people. The fourth has a 50 passenger plane. No decision yet.
