The 91st Miss America pageant is currently taking place in Atlantic City and Miss Mississippi 2017, Anne Elizabeth Buys is vying for the crown.
Buys will take the stage Sunday to showcase her talent.
Miss Mississippi 2017 will be doing Ballet en Pointe to the song “Viva!” during the talent portion of the competition.
Buys has already been recognized as a Quality of Life Finalist during her time at the Miss America Pageant.
It is the 6th time in a row that Miss Mississippi has received the Quality of Life award.
“I am completely honored to be Miss Mississippi,” said Buys. “I will do my very best to represent the state to the best of my ability and to bring home the crown as the fifth Miss Mississippi to be Miss America.”
The Miss America pageant is set to air Sunday evening at 9/8c on the ABC network.
