JACKSON, Miss. — Jackson Public School teacher Willie Moorehead, 60, has been charged with statutory rape. Moorehead is a teacher at Siwell Middle School. He was arrested in Rankin County on Thursday after the mother of a 14-year-old girl told investigators he had sex with her daughter at a nearby park on Tuesday.
Moorehead was arrested at his home. He is being held without bond at the Rankin County jail, where he awaiting a court hearing.
