Thirteen pounds of crystal meth was found in a secret compartment of the car, Sherif Tyrone Lewis told media. He said the car’s driver and passenger, Daniel Bueno, 36, and Misty Barker, 19, were arrested. Lewis said they were charged with intent to distribute and more arrests could be coming once they find out where the meth came from and where it could be going.
In Yazoo County, in the small community of Bentonia, cops were looking for Curtis Nolan, a suspected pot dealer. When they went to his home Sunday with a warrant, Nolan was not around. What deputies and Bentonia Police did find was a whole lot of marijuana plants. They seized 27 plants and Nolan is up for arrest once they find him.
To possibly add to the pot charges were high-powered rifles found in the home. The marijuana could be worth as much as $27,000.
