Meteorites are being found in Mississippi following a fireball that traveled over the state last Wednesday.
This past weekend, multiple meteorite hunters shared their findings through social media.
Matthew Stream and Roberto Vargas found three fragments of the bolide near Cranfield, which is an unincorporated area of Adams County east of Natchez. The duo shared a video of their findings in a meteorite group on Facebook.
Linda Welzenbach-Fries, a science writer at Rice University in Texas, also found some of the space rocks just off of Highway 84 near Natchez.
