JACKSON- The Mississippi Economics Council will meet on April 27 in Jackson, downtown at the Jackson Convention Complex for its 68th Annual Meeting.
This year on the itinerary are special guests Ben and Erin Napier from the HGTV show, Home Town.
The event starts at 8:30 a.m. with registration and the first session begins at 9:00 a.m. with speakers Paula Dowell, Ph. D., principal, Cambridge Systematics. Then the audience will hear from Mike McCormick, President Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation and Rodney Grogan, President MMC Materials Inc.
After the speakers present the STAR Student and Teacher Recognition celebration will begin, followed by another session with the Home Town stars.
Following the meetings will be a luncheon for those in attendance.
