MCCOMB, Miss. – A 22-year-old man has been accused of raping a woman in her own home.
Darrian Abraham, was arrested Monday and has been charged with rape.
According to a local media outlet, the woman, in her 50s, said she was awakened at about 8:30 a.m. Saturday by a man who entered through her bedroom and began choking her. According to police, the victim tried to fight off her attacker but was thrown to the floor and then sexually assaulted. Following the assault, the man left the house.
The woman was taken to a nearby hospital as a precaution.
