Yesterday, the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges, which is composed of presidents from the state’s 15 community colleges, released a public statement denouncing the use of the current state flag.
“We believe the flag of Mississippi should be one that unites all of us toward a prosperous future,” the statement read.
Meridian Community College (MCC) President Dr. Tom Huebner joined the conversation today on The JT Show to talk about the stance he and other community college presidents are taking on the flag.
