Two people lost their lives and two more are in critical condition after a police pursuit ended in a multi-vehicle accident Saturday night in Byhalia.
Marshall County Sheriff’s Department officials report the accident happened around 8 p.m. An investigation indicated that a GMC SUV, which was being pursued by a Byhalia police officer, collided with a Ford F150 near the intersection of St. Paul Road and Dockery Drive.
The driver of the SUV and a passenger in the Ford truck were both pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck and another passenger are currently listed in critical condition while being treated at Regional One Health in Memphis, Tenn.
Michael Crutcher, 63, of Collierville, Tenn., and Jaqua Blueitt, 30, of Byhalia, are the two victims who lost their lives in the fatal crash.
