The Jasper County Sheriff’s Department announced over the weekend that their swat team was involved in a shots fired incident while serving a warrant.
The team attempted to serve a felony arrest warrant on Stanley McGlaston at his residence on CR 1725 in Jasper County.
Swat announced their presence several times and attempted to enter the home. McGlaston then fired from inside the home and swat members returned fire striking him. McGlaston was shot in the arm and transported to the hospital.
No swat members were injured and MBI has been notified and they are handling the investigation.
