JACKSON, Miss.- A man is renovating and raffling off houses in Jackson.
Bobby Quinn has spent the last year renovating a house Utah Street and is going to sell raffle tickets to win the three bedroom home. The raffle tickets are only 10 bucks and if you have the winning ticket you get the house!
He’s trying to bring back some life into these neighborhoods. Jackson has over 8,000 vacant houses and he wants to fix that.
Quin told WAPT, “My thoughts are that if the public would pay $10 a ticket, and we could fund this, I figure we can take off running.”
