PHILADELPHIA, Miss. – Five children and one adult were killed in wreck back in December 2013, now Duane John Sr. has been indicted on six counts of DUI manslaughter.
John was the one driving the car when it veered off the road into a rain-swollen creek in Philadelphia. Police say he was drunk at the time. John was the father of those children, he and two others were able to make it out of the creek alive. All of those victims were members of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians.
John was indicted by a Neshoba Grand Jury and still no court date has been set.
