MANTACHIE, Miss.- While riding horses with his father a 37-year-old Tim Edge was struck by lightning.
It not only hit him, but hit his horse as well. Both were killed by the surge of electricity.
Itawamba County Coronoer Sheila Summerford told the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal that Edge’s father had gone inside the barn while he stayed outside on his horse.
His father then heard a loud boom and that’s when the lightning hit.
