SOUTHAVEN, Miss. — A female police officer in Southaven was punched so hard, she fell to the ground, and then was literally dragged down the road hanging out of the door of her patrol car.
Officer Mitze Stewart managed to pull herself in the car, pepper spray the drug suspect she was trying to arrest and hold him at gunpoint until help arrived. She suffered a broken nose and a lot of cuts and bruises. Joshua Graham has now been found guilty of assaulting her. The Tennessee man will be sentenced later this month.
