PONTOTOC, Miss.- It was a hit and run that claimed the life of 21-year-old Lequintray Williams Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of U.S. Highway 278 and Highway 345.
Police have now charged a man for the accident. Juan M. Hernandez, 36, is being held on a $100,000 bond and charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving a fatality.
Police located Hernandez Wednesday morning in Lee County after witnesses told them the man that left the scene was driving a black Dodge pick-up truck.
Hernandez is being held at the Pontotoc County Jail.
