STARKVILLE, Miss. — African cats, exotic birds, frogs, and big snakes, those were part of the exotic breeding farm uncovered at a house in Starkville by cops last week after they got a call about noise complaint.
Huyanh Ralph Tran, 35, turned himself in. He has been charged with violating public nuisance and safety as well as operation a commercial business in a residential area. At first they did not know what to charge him with. Those animals are believed to be valued at more than $100,000. Tran was apparently a veterinary student at Mississippi State University.
Right now he is out of jail on a $1,000 bond and most of the animals have been removed.
