JACKSON, MS- A Grenada man has been arrested for sexual battery of a vulnerable person, announced Attorney General Jim Hood Monday.
Anthony Reece, 40, of Grenada, was arrested Thursday by investigators with the Attorney General’s Office Medicaid Fraud Control Unit with assistance from the Panola County Sheriff’s Department. Reece is charged with one count of sexual battery of a vulnerable person.
The victim was a patient at Tri-Lakes Medical Center in Batesville, where the defendant worked.
Reece was booked into Panola County Jail and bond was set at $250,000. If convicted, he faces a maximum of 30 years in jail and $10,000 in fines.
