A man has been arrested in Madison County for allegedly holding several passengers, including children, at gunpoint inside a vehicle.
The Flora Police Department reports that Cortez Parker has been arrested and faces charges of possession of a stolen firearm, kidnapping, and aggravated assault.
According to authorities, Flora police units intercepted a vehicle operated by Parker on Highway 49 northbound. The suspect was taken into custody without incident and is now housed in the Madison County Jail.

Bond has not been set for Parker at this time.
