A Mississippi Delta man has been taken into custody for a massive gun theft in Oktibbeha County.
On Tuesday, U.S. Marshals captured Daniel Jones in Greenville. Jones is accused of breaking into a shed in Sturgis and stealing 45 guns from inside. As of now, police report that only three of the firearms have been recovered, and each was in the possession of someone else other than Jones.
The suspect faces charges of burglary other than a dwelling, grand larceny, possession of a weapon by a felon, and trafficking firearms.
His bond has been set at $50,000.
