PHILADELPHIA, Miss.- A man was arrested for the murder of his father, and the burning of his home.
Bond was denied for Victor McBeath after he was charged Monday for shooting and killing his father, Ozie Lee McBeath, reports the Meridian Star.
McBeath, the father, died of a single gunshot would to the back of the head.
When police arrived to recover the body they found that the house was on fire. They were able to put it out and arrest McBeath without any issue.
He was found at the edge of the woods behind the house.
