STARKVILLE, Miss.- Police responded early Tuesday morning to an auto burglary in progress, resulting in a man being put in jail. Around 3:30 a.m. is when it happened. Cops were dispatched to Lynn Lane, which lead them to the discovery of 21-year-old Douglas Irwin.
They arrested him on two counts of auto burglary. He was taken to the Starkville Police Department, where he was processed and later transported to the Clay County Jail.
Bond has not yet been set.
