LAUDLERDALE COUNTY, Miss. — It could be ten years behind bars for a Meridian man accused exploiting a vulnerable person. Cedric Blanchard worked as a care worker East Mississippi State Hospital. According to the Attorney General’s Office, Blanchard offered to buy things for one of his patients, but while he was out and about with their debit card he took money from the ATM for himself.
Blanchard is now at the Lauderdale Country jail. He could spend some more time behind bars and pay a $10,000 fine if convicted.
