Madison and Rankin County District Attorney Michael Guest confirmed that bond was set at $275,000 for Dwan wakefield, a 17 year old that was accused of being involved in the murder of 6-year-old Kingston Frazier back in May.

Guest said Wakefield was in the process of being released on Thursday after that bond was posted. Wakefield along with 19-year-old Byron McBride, and 17-year-old D’allen Washington have all been charged with capitol murder.

Investigators believe the three were involved in the stealing of the car Kingston was in at the Kroger on I-55 in Jackson, while his mother was inside the store. The vehicle was later located in Madison County, Kingston shot to death inside.

All charges are still standing and the other two involved remain in the Madison County jail.
