The Madison Police Department released a statement in regards to the passing of Officer Jim Mack, Jr. on Sunday.
Officer Mack was found deceased on Friday, January 3rd of 2020 from a medical-related issue. It has not been said exactly what that medical issue was.
Officer Jim Mack, Badge# 378, had 11 years of service with the Madison Police Department and was a 19-year veteran of law enforcement.
As of Sunday, arrangements have not been finalized and the family has not released any details about that.
Madison Police Department said, “We would like to express our sympathy and offer our prayers to the family of Officer Jim Mack Jr. He was a valued member of the Department and he will be greatly missed.”
