A group of Mississippi veterans is searching for the owner of a Purple Heart medal and several other awards that were discovered in a Brookhaven storage unit.
Among the items were pictures, several medals, and a folded American flag, leading others to believe that the owner was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Greg Marlow, Senior Vice Commander at Veterans of Foreign Wars VFW, released photos of the items on Facebook last week.
