BILOXI, Miss. –There’s gonna be a new Stadium for a professional baseball team on Mississippi’s gulf coast.
The Biloxi city council voted 5-2 today for a deal to build a 6,000 seat stadium. The agreement includes a parking garage across from the Beau Rivage Casino on Highway 90 at I-110. As part of financing, the city of Biloxi approved borrowing $21 million in bonds. The state has already agreed to pitch in another $15 million from a BP Grant.
