Jackson, Miss– Today the highs will peak in the upper 30’s and 40’s across the state, but tonight you’ll need to bring the pets in, bundle up, and let the pipes drip.
While snowfall, rain, or sleet is behind the Magnolia State, the threat of freezing temperatures is still looking.
Highs in North Mississippi are barely busting above freezing, with temps tapping the low to mid thirties. Lows in the upper teens and twenties for the overnight low.
Central and South, forties for the high but a bitter wind will have it feeling much cooler, with overnight lows dropping into the upper twenties.
Sunday brings a little break from the biting cold with highs reaching into the forties and fifties statewide, with a little sunshine peeking through.
