ATLANTIC CITY– Miss Mississippi Laura Lee Lewis of Brookhaven was named fourth runner-up in the Miss America pageant. Miss Arkansas Savvy Shields was crowned Miss America 2017.
Lewis performed “A Piece of Sky” in the talent portion of the competition, and progressed to the top 7 for the question-and-answer piece of the pageant.
