“Nothin’ like it, Krystal,” may be the motto for one of America’s most popular fast-food joints, but the sentiment was not reciprocated by two employees at a Krystal location in the Jackson metro area this week.
Officers with the Brandon Police Department responded to a disturbance call at the restaurant on Wednesday around 3:15 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers encountered 42-year-old Christopher Epps in the parking lot. He was taken into custody without incident. Authorities discovered a Springfield XD-9 on his person.
Epps is charged with aggravated assault and an outstanding arrest warrant. He is being held at the Rankin County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
