Comedian Kountry Wayne will be making two stops in Mississippi during his “The King of Hearts” tour, which is set to include appearances in 29 cities across the nation.
Wayne, who has established himself as one of the most in-demand touring comedians in the country, released that he will be returning to the stage with all-new material during his upcoming tour.
The new tour follows the success of Wayne’s Netflix stand-up special “Kountry Wayne: A Woman’s Prayer,” which premiered at number one on the streaming platform’s most-watched list in the U.S. Beyond comedy, Wayne also released his debut book, “Help Is on the Way,” earlier this year.
The comedian’s career highlights in recent years include being named one of Variety’s “10 Comics to Watch” in 2021, starring in the BET original Christmas rom-com “Holiday Heartbreak,” appearing on MTV’s “Wild ‘N Out” with Nick Cannon, and co-hosting “I Love Us.”
Now, Wayne is set to appear at the Saenger Theater in Hattiesburg on May 17, 2024, before heading to the Beau River Theatre in Biloxi the next day.
Tickets will be available starting with an artist presale at 2:00 p.m. CT on Monday, December 11. The general sale of tickets is set to begin on Wednesday, December 13 at 9:00 a.m.
