JACKSON, Miss.–At least one of three Mississippi men arrested this week on child exploitation charges had child pornography, said Atty. Gen. Jim Hood. The three were arrested with the help of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
John Matherne of Magnolia, in Pike County, was charged with four counts of possession of child pornography and faces up to 40 years on each count if he’s convicted.
Also arrested were Nicholas Garrett, 26, of Hinds County and Chistopher Miles, 35, of Southaven. Both men were charged with child exploitation. Hood did not offer further details in their arrests.
