EDWARDS, Miss.–Having child pornography is the charge against George Duke, 63, of Edwards. Attorney Gen. Jim Hood said Duke was arrested Thursday in Hinds County by investigators with his office’s Cyber Crime Unit.
Hood said Louisiana state police helped with the investigation, but did not specify how.
“We work very closely with Louisiana on these type of cases and they with us,” said Hood. “We appreciate our working relationship with them, especially when it comes to child exploitation cases.”
Duke had not made his first court appearance as of Thursday afternoon. He could get 40 years in the state lockup if he is convicted.
