HATTIESBURG, Miss.–This is about keeping your kids safe. When Grantham Mitchell was caught, he not only had video and images of children engaged in sexual acts, he had video that he produced himself in Orange Beach in 2012. That’s what landed him a 15-year prison sentence Monday.
WTVA reported that Mitchell pleaded guilty to production of child pornography in April. He got his sentence Monday, and that also included seven years for other images of child pornography, a sentence that will be served at the same time.
Mitchell’s Orange Beach video featured him and a minor in sex acts.
In Gulfport, police are still asking for your help if you can help them find a potential kidnapper. He’s the guy who tried to pull a 13-year-old girl out of her house Sunday afternoon when she answered the door bell. She was able to get away, and so was the kidnapper.
