WAYNE COUNTY, Miss.–When teacher Toby Rickey was called to the principles office this week, he was met by the school’s top dog and by police from Jones County. He was arrested and charged with exploitation of a child.
According to D.A. J. Ronald Parish, Richey sent lewd pics of himself to a 15-year-old back in 2011, when he was a teacher at Northeast Jones High School. Since then he has changed jobs, now working for Wayne County Schools.
Police told media the child reported getting the text message two years late because of embarrassment.
“Anybody who gets any kind of gratification about showin’ off their private parts to under aged kids is a scum bag and an idiot,” Parish told WDAM.
Richey could get 40 years if he’s convicted.
