On Monday jury selection began for the trial of the man accused of killing 19-year-old Jessica Chambers.
Chambers was found burning to death while walking away from her vehicle that was on fire in Panola County in 2014. She was transported to the hospital but later died of her injuries. 98 percent of her body was burned.
Officials indicted Quinton Verdell Tellis in February of 2016 for the crime, more than a year after her death.
After his indictment Tellis pleaded not guilty to the crime in July of 2016.
