QUITMAN, Miss. – Hundreds were on hand at the Family Life Center Church to remember 39-year-old Jonathan Sanders.
Sanders was the man who had been driving a horse and buggy before he got into a fight with a Clark County police officer and died.
The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation are still working to figured out exactly how he died. Some at the scene say he was strangled with a flash light by the police officer.
According to WTOK-TV, those at the funeral described Sanders as a man who loved everyone and someone who was unselfish.
In his eulogy, Sanders’ minister prayed for healing and justice.
