JACKSON, Miss– A federal judge has shot down Attorney General Jim Hood’s attempt to block Google from getting access to exchanges between Hood and movie industry lobbyists.
That’s yet another defeat for Hood. In March, the same judge making this latest ruling stated that Hood was working “in bad faith,” and that his actions against Google were only retaliation for the internet giant’s refusal to bow to Hood’s disagreements about online postings.
Next week Hood will be hosting an attorneys general conference examining online activity and the conflicts that come from such activity.
